Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire Movie Star?

Ray Allen, Dwight Howard, and Shaquille O’Neal have one thing in common: they all been in movies. Now it would appear New York Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire might be the next to join that list.

Apparently, Stoudemire is a huge fan of the horror movie The Strangers, and would like to be in the sequel:

The New York Post claims that New York Knicks basketball player Amar’e Stoudemire is in serious talks with Relativity about joining the film, after declaring that he is a big fan of the original.

The Strangers starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as an unlucky couple who are attacked in their home by three individuals whose motives are never explained.

Now begs the question, what role will he play?

Perhaps he will play a goggle-wearing villain who will wreak havoc on the innocent in the first half of the movie, only to have his character meet his demise by not defending against the hero and rebounding when his character is down on the floor when it counts in the second half of the movie.
