Bucks Day Video: The 1971 Bucks

Before he was Kareem Abdul Jabbar, he was the Milwaukee Bucks center Lew Alcindor. In 1969, the Bucks acquired the rights to Alcindor in their second year of existance in the NBA which would eventually net them the 1971 NBA title. He averaged 29 point per game and would live up to expectations in his early days as a Buck. Add a young Oscar Robertson to play alongside Alcindor and it only furthered the making of a championship team in Milwaukee.

These two legendary players would lead the Bucks to the title over the Lakers in five games in the 1971 NBA Championship.
