Joakim Noah is an All Star?

Thursday night at 7 p.m., the NBA will unveil the rest of the NBA All-Star teams as the Inside the NBA crew announce the reserves for next month's exhibition game. Coaches vote on the best remaining players from their respective conferences.

The debate will be endless and we will name our reserves before TNT makes their announcement.

The Chicago Bulls may have jumped the gun. They posted this short video Tuesday congratulating Joakim Noah on his selection:

The video was quickly taken down, but, as with all things on the Internet, the damage was done.

Noah making the All-Star team is not the worst thing in the world though. Noah is deserving of consideration to make the East squad as a reserve. He is averaging 11.7 points and 11.4 rebounds per game and is probably among the favored candidates for Defensive Player of the Year. His energy has certainly helped the Bulls stay afloat without Derrick Rose and in the wake of the Luol Deng trade.

No one should be complaining about Noah making the team.

The premature celebration? Let's wait to see who actually makes the team.
