Brooklyn’s Mirza Teletovic out for remainder of season

Brooklyn Nets big man Mirza Teletovic was taken to a local hospital during a game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday due to what was described as shortness of breath. Teletovic underwent testing and the doctors found that he had blood clots in his lungs.

This bizarre turn of events will keep Teletovic out for the rest of the season. The big man was averaging 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 32.1% from beyond the arc and 38.2% overall from the field.
