LeBron James and the Miami Heat had a very happy Thanksgiving. Not only has the team's winning ways continued as it searches for a third straight title, the team seems as close as ever. There is definitely a feel that this group remains special and hunger to be considered among the NBA's elite for organizations and dynasties.
A nine-game win streak in November means little, but it sure makes the turkey taste better at team Thanksgiving functions.
Miami was on the road late last week and got to spend Thanksgiving at LeBron's house in the Cleveland area following the Heat's win over the Cavaliers. It produced a whole bunch of fun team-bonding photos which James shared on his Instagram:
James and the Heat though like to have fun too. Udonis Haslem went after Heat players who had a little too much turkey and entered a tryptophan-induced nap. The "got ya" trend is still alive and well among NBA players.
I am sure Dwyane Wade, Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers will be seeking their revenge shortly.
