David Stern is making the rounds as he celebrates the final two days as NBA commissioner. His 30-year tenure as the league's top man is coming to a celebrated ending. Oh, but the greatest part of his victory parade was his stop at the Late Show with David Letterman, where he counted down the top 10 things he learned in his 30 years as NBA commissioner:

Indeed, David Stern is an inspiration to short, unathletic kids everywhere. You, too, can enjoy a long career in sports. And who knew the minimum salary for mascots was $5 million per year?
Stern might have a future in comedy after this commissioner thing is up. Just has to work on that timing.
Or maybe not.
