When the Pelicans introduce their new-look mascot, Pierre, "frightening" was the best word to describe it. Seriously, it looked like something out of a horror flick.

OK now that it is over and your soul has been ripped from you out of sheer fright, the Pelicans saw it best to redo their mascot's face.
New Orleans sent out a photo of their mascot undergoing facial reconstruction and admitting the first attempt was nothing but haunting.

Let's just hope that once the bandages are removed, his new face is less evil looking and more appropriate where it doesn't make you want to burn the monstrosity on sight.
