The NFL has officially banned goalpost dunking as touchdown celebrations. Particularly after Jimmy Graham broke the uprights and delayed a game in Atlanta.
Graham was one of the best NFL dunkers thanks to his time as a star player on Miami’s basketball team. He just lifts up and dunks with as much ease as he scores touchdowns.
Tony Gonzalez too was a noted former basketball player in the NFL. He got a few looks at Summer League during his career with teh Chiefs and Falcons. And he had a few nice jams too. He lost some of his hops as he got older.
It was not always easy as Vernon Davis revealed.
