The best of Not Bill Walton on Comedy Central

If you are an NBA fan, you know of Bill Walton. He was the lead color analyst for the NBA on NBC in the 1990s and his commentary is often full of odd similes, breathtaking flourishes and some decently poignant analysis. The NBA has lost one of its great voices as Walton dealt with lingering back issues and he had to leave the broadcast booth. He now does broadcasts for the Pac-12 on ESPN.

Walton’s legacy lives on with the fantastic parody account Not Bill Walton. This Twitter account does a great job of capturing Walton’s essence with offbeat and sometimes vulgar observations about the NBA, sports and life itself.

For Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals, Comedy Central turned over the reigns of its Twitter account to Not Bill Walton to give him a much wider audience. The results were almost as hilarious as Drunk History (premiering July 1, by the way). Here is a selection of the best tweets from last night’s game:
