The Brooklyn Nets decided to put an end to their mascot, the Brooklyn Knight.
The Brooklyn Knight was, how can I say this, a complete joke. It was a sad attempt by the franchise to capitalize on the wildly popular comic hero genre by creating a mascot complete with silver armor plating and a “B” chest logo.
Actual news: Nets have informed their mascot he will not return next season, may place Brooklyn Knight character on hiatus…or worse.

We will miss you Brooklyn Knight. Thanks for the time you gave the NBA even though you were never well received nor made any sensible connection to the Nets franchise.
Seriously, what does a knight have to do with the Nets?
