Team USA had to make some cuts and unfortunately for Blazers’ Damian Lillard, he was on the chopping block.
However, if you think Damian is completely devastated, think again.
Although I am sure he would have liked to compete for the gold medal in Spain at the World Cup, Lillard is taking it in stride and had quite the response on Instagram about being let go.
Let’s just say Star Wars nerds (like myself) truly appreciated it.
