12/21/14 @ Orlando Magic | Avg. Price: $70.29 | Get-in Price: $11.00
The 76ers travel to the home of Disney World to take on the Orlando Magic. Orlando is led by the one-two punch of Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic. Vucevic has returned from a minor back injury, which had sidelined him for six games. When healthy, Vucevic averages a double-double every night and is a nightmare to defend and couple that with Harris’ efficiency and it gets scary. Harris is averaging 18.5 points a game while shooting 38% from beyond the arc. The matchup to watch here is the offense of Vucevic versus the defensive of Noel. This battle will have an average ticket price of $70.29 on the secondary market as well as a get-in price of $11.00. Ticket prices have seen a 23% decrease in the past seven days according to ABC Tickets.
12/23/14 @ Miami Heat | Avg. Price: $127.43 | Get-in Price: $11.00
This is the right time to take on the Miami Heat. They are really struggling as they have lost six of their last eight games. They averaged only 85 points per game during those six losses including being held to a season-low 75 points by Chicago. Chris Bosh has been terrific this year after he landed a max contract in the offseason. Dwayne Wade has played very efficiently, but cannot play a full season anymore with the condition of his knees. Miami lost a lot of talent in the offseason and doesn’t have any three-point shooters or any spacing on the floor. This is absolutely a winnable game for the 76ers, especially if Wade sits this game out. Carter-Williams should have a field day against Mario Chalmers who is a poor on-ball defender. 76ers vs. Heat will have an average ticket price of $127.43 on the secondary market. The prices show a 7% decrease compared to where the price was last week. You can pay as little as $11.00 to see this game.
12/26/14 @ Portland Trailblazers | Avg. Price: $138.92 | Get-in Price: $30.00
Portland is one of the best teams in the NBA. However, they could be in serious trouble as starter Robin Lopez is out indefinitely with a fractured right hand. This is really a big blow to the Trailblazers because he is their best rim protector and defender. The Trailblazers’ starting five plays more minutes than any other group in the league. It appears that Joel Freeland will replace Lopez in the starting five as Chris Kaman is very effective off the bench. Regardless of Lopez’s injury, this team is still very talented with Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge playing at the top of their game. Vendors are charging an average of $138.92 on the secondary market. Prices have increased 17% in the last 7 days with are going for as low as $30.
12/27/14 @ Utah Jazz | Avg. Price: $101.51 | Get-in Price: $8.00
The 76ers travel to Salt Lake City to take on the struggling Utah Jazz. The Jazz are 6-18 in the very talented Western Conference. Gordon Hayward has been scoring with ease this year. Point guard Alec Burks has been terrific this year. He’s averaging 14 points per game and getting to the foul line very often. Both teams are not very good defensively and it should be an up and down game. Wroten should be able to do his bidding against Trey Burke. On top of that, look for Noel and Derrick Favors to battle down low as they can exploit Utah. Jazz vs. 76ers tickets are going for an average price of $101.51, and can cost as low as $8.00. Despite the struggles of these two teams, prices have increased 11% in the last 7 days.
12/30/14 @ Golden State Warriors | Avg. Price: $139.72 | Get-in Price: $28.00
This game is the most expensive on the 76ers road trip for good reason. The Warriors are an NBA-best 21-3 having just ended a 16-game win streak. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who average 45.4 points and 10.5 assists per game, lead this team. The ‘Dubs’ are the second best offensive team in the league. Besides the ‘Splash Brothers’, the biggest surprise has been the elevated play of stretch–four Draymond Green (13.4 points and 8 rebounds per game) who has replaced the oft-injured David Lee. The 76ers will need to play their best game to keep up with Golden State who can defend with Iguodala, rebound with Bogut, and score in bunches. 76ers vs. Warriors will have an average price of $139.72, which shows a 20% increase in price in the past seven days. You can pay as little as $28.00 to see this game.
1/2/15 @ Phoenix Suns | Avg. Price: $ 152.77 | Get-in Price: $16.00
The Phoenix Suns are one of the most exciting in the NBA. Despite this, ticket prices have decreased by 4% in the past seven days. The three-headed monster of Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas has been effective for Phoenix. They combine for 45.6 points, 12rebounds and 15 assists per game. While the backcourt is very good on this team, the frontcourt isn’t. There are no legitimate rim protectors on the Suns, which is a major reason why this team is third in the Pacific Division. Look for Nerlens Noel and Henry Sims to have good games. Tickets are being sold for an average price of $152.77. You can get in for as little as $16.00.
1/3/15 @ Los Angeles Clippers | Avg. Price: $ 117.86 | Get-in Price: $13.00
The Clippers are the fourth-best offensive team in the NBA. This team has a great combination of shooters, distributors and rebounders. Jamal Crawford and J.J Redick are two of the most consistent shooters in the league. Add them to all-stars Chris Paul and Blake Griffin (who can shoot) and this team will be tough to stop. Like most of the games on this road trip, it’s going to be a shootout. Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford aren’t solid. Wroten and Carter-Williams will be able to drive the lane and get open looks. Tickets to this one are going for an average price $117.86 on the secondary market, but they are going for as little as $13.00. This represents a 2% increase in the past seven days.
