A Sneak Peek At the Court For The London Games

In case you may have gotten swept up in the NBA lockout and the yearning for news that a CBA has been agreed upon, there is still plenty of basketball this summer for fans to feast on.  From the various pro-am games, to the much anticipated Goodman-Drew League showdown this month, fans are still getting their fill of basketball highlights to satisfy their appetites despite the lockout.

However, there is also some major basketball tournaments about to kick off out in South Amercia and Europe later this month where international NBA players will be on the court hooping it up in the hopes of making it to the 2012 London games.  Players such as San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili, Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah, Los Angeles Lakers’ Pau Gasol, and many other NBA players will be present at pre-Olympic qualifying tournaments which are sure to make fans tune in to watch professional basketballers hit the hardwood for their respective countries. 

And whichever teams do qualify for the 2012 Olympics this summer, and for fans planning to attend, The Telegraph recently toured the new court in London and from the video, it looks like one solid place for hoops.
