Who says NBA fans won’t have games to watch come October? They’ll get some of the best ball they’ve seen in a while… at least they will on their favorite gaming console.
The highly-anticipated NBA 2K12 is moving the clock back and will be parading out some of the games legendary players. Already announced players are Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan but what game is truly complete without two more legends – Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Julius Erving.
These Hall of Famers will be playable in a new “NBA’s Greatest” mode, where players can relive basketball’s classic moments using 15 NBA teams of years past. These teams and players can also be unlocked for use against current franchises.
As much as this is some cool news to hit gamers, I am hoping to see an unlockable feature where you can relive and play as Jabbar in his “Oscar-winning” performance in Airplane. What’s your vector, Victor?
How about unlocking a level where one can play as Erving or Bird in their famous fight Mortal Kombat style. Finish him!
