Blazers’ Batum Balling Overseas, Named MVP

There may not be any NBA action in the states but across the pond, Portland Trail Blazers’ Nicolas Batum has been tearing up the court for French club SLUC Nancy.

And by balling, I mean balling!

Batum has led Nancy to an undefeated 6-0 record and has been averaging 35.7 minutes, shooting 47.8% from the field, 36.4% from the three-point line, 78.3% from the free-throw line, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.5 steals, and 14.3 points.

And as if that wasn’t enough, in a game versus San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker and ASVEL-Villeurbanne, he thoroughly upstaged his fellow countryman and played all 40 minutes in Nancy’s recent huge win over powerhouse Caja Laboral.

Because of his outstanding efforts, Batum was named the MVP of the week for the second time.

Take a look of what Batum has been doing overseas including more on his spectacular play which is more than likely to put a smile on Blazers fans.
