This one is for all you New York Knicks fans.
You guys have a head coach who is on the hot seat, a front office that seems to not rid themselves of Isiah Thomas, lost out on LeBron James, and saw your team get hit hard with injuries to key players (Chauncey Billups and Amar’e Stoudemire) in the playoffs versus the Boston Celtics.
Yes the future is bright with Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e in the fold but the following should also put a smile on your faces.
Check out video (via ballislife.com) of what Knicks’ first round draft pick, Iman Shumpert, did at the Las Vegas Impact League. Sure it may have been in games where defense may not have been a priority but Shumpert displayed all-around athletic ability, ability to handle the ball, knock down the open shot, speed, can finish at the rim and more.
There is no doubt he will get fans off their seats in the Garden next season.
