Lakers’ Artest Plays Peacemaker

Los Angeles Lakers’ Ron Artest has a dubious reputation in the NBA. Known for losing his temper on the court which was magnified in the 2004 melee at the Palace of Auburn Hills between the Detroit Pistons, fans and Indiana Pacers when Artest was a Pacer.

However, check out the video of Artest playing peacemaker between a man and woman outside a club in Los Angeles.

After his good deed, Artest had this to say:

“Unfortunately there was a situation at the club and some people had too much to drink, and got unruly and aggressive. I tried to diffuse the situation. Some people just don’t think clearly when they’ve had too much to drink — it’s an unfortunate reality.”

Trouble usually follows Artest but in this case, Artest was the one putting a halt to any trouble before it escalated even more.
