I’m sure Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s to-do list kind of looked like this: run through the NBA playoffs, check. Make it to the NBA Finals, check. Capture the franchise’s first NBA title, check. Sing Prince’s Purple Rain at a karaoke bar, check.
That’s right. Cuban took to the mic and did his best rendition of the famous Prince song. Of course it was one huge epic fail but hey, I can’t pass judgment. I too have done my fair share of singing at karaoke bars and I am still wiping off the tomatoes thrown at me.
But with huge binders full of songs, Cuban could have at least picked a better, or livelier song to get the crowd whipped up. However, I doubt it would make his singing any better.
So sit back, and prepare to cringe like you have never cringed before.
