Fan tweets pic of ‘autographed’ Wade kicks, just one problem…

There's nothing like getting your hands on your favorite NBA player's autograph. We've all been there. Waiting on the stands, yelling his name out, pen in hand, just hoping he will stop by sign whatever you got and your day is made.

But going that route at least allows you to feel secure you have that player's autograph and don't have to worry if you are being scammed with some store or online outlet.

Take this fan for example who is a huge Miami Heat Dwayne Wade fan.

Heat fan Karim Khatib was stoked to get his hands on a pair of "signed" sneakers by Wade enough to show them off on his Twitter account. Check it out (h/t FootBasket.com).

Just one tiny problem about that Wade signature… it's not Wade.

Just as soon as the fan showed off his prized possession, Wade responded by saying it's not his signature at all.

Well that sucks but if you think Karim is realizing he might have gotten swindled, think again. Talking a look at his Twitter feed, it seems he still doesn't believe Wade.

I guess he rather live in denial than believe Wade who tells him the truth about the signature. I mean what more does the guy need to realize he may have gotten swindled?
