With the Nets up 51-35 in the first half of their game against the Celtics last night, tempers flared when Nets' Kris Humphries fouled Celtics' Kevin Garnett sending him crashing to the floor.
Rajon Rondo didn't take to kindly to Humphries' foul on his teammate and that's when a brawl broke out.
Boston head coach responded to the brawl saying the fight was "not toughness" while Garnett said the NBA is not the "Girl Scouts."
However, you spin it whether it be the thought that Rondo was there for his teammate for the hard foul or frustrations were mounting for Rondo, this was not what was needed for a struggling team.
The Humphries foul was not malicious, and in the video even KG is not overreacting about the foul. Rondo overreacted and now he might see a suspension coming his way from the NBA thus hurting the Celtics (who are hovering above .500) in any games he may miss.
In the end, Rondo, Humphries, and Gerald Wallace got tossed and Boston lost 95-83 to the Nets.
Now all the awaits is what punishment (if any) the NBA will hand out regarding this incident.
But Humphries wasn't completely done with the fracas with Rondo and added a dig at the point guard. He took to Twitter and posted scratches along his back asking for Tetanus shots.
Anyone know where I can get a quick Tetanus shot in Boston?lockerz.com/s/265003890
