CC Video of the Day: Brittney Griner dunks. . . TWICE!

It is OK if you missed this, really it is.

Baylor superwoman Brittney Griner made her WNBA debut this past weekend for the Phoenix Mercury as the WNBA launched its 16th season. There is a good amount of excitement in the league this year with a trio of high-caliber rookies entering the league in Griner, Elena Delle Donne and Skylar Diggins.

Griner though is the one that has the most attention after her dominating run at Baylor, after Mark Cuban said he would consider drafting the center prodigy and after Griner makes plays like this in her professional debut:

Yeah, that is Griner hanging on the rim at the end of that video. The Chicago player did not really know what to do to get out of the way. Does she get a technical foul for that? Are there such protocols in the WNBA? Got to love that phantom camera too!

Griner is already changing the WNBA as you can see. She scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds in her debut.

No word yet if she will take time off to try out for the Mavericks.
