By now you have probably heard the news, the Cleveland Cavaliers have hired Mike Brown as their head coach again, after letting him go three years ago. Good for him, I do not think he is either a great coach or the abysmal failture that he was painted as during his depature from the Los Angeles Lakers.
In addition to his report on that hiring, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski also reported that the Cavs want LeBron James back and that they also covet LaMarcus Aldridge.
Privately, the Cleveland front office has pitched a fantasy of trading young players and picks to Portland for All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, sources said. Only, that's never going to happen. Cleveland is far higher on its two top-five picks, Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters, than the rest of the NBA.

Hop on to the trade machine, figure out how to get a guy you covet and pull trigger. Done!
Then you convince the best player on the planet to sign with the team he never should have left and start a new dynasty with two of the 20 best players in the league.
Listen, Wojnarowski is right, the Cavs need to stop this LeBron dream. If you want to try to trade your young talent for Aldridge, cool, I would too. But James trusted Pat Riley enough to burn the Cavs and that was before he got a ring under Riley and Erik Spoelstra's leadership. Tough to see him leaving Miami, especially if he has got not one, not two, but three rings when he has to make that decision.
