Video: Greg Oden debuts/returns

For the first time since December 5, 2009, Greg Oden stepped onto an NBA court Wednesday night.

Wow, could not think of a better debut for Oden returning from the multiple microfracture surgeries that have completely ruined the career of the former first overall pick. It has been a long journey back and he is not all the way there yet.

Oden will not be the player he was at Ohio State or the player Portland imagined. However, if he can stay healthy, he will be a big contributor to the Heat.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Oden still has to play his first regular season game, and back to back, and road trip and entire season.
