The ESPYs came and went Wednesday night. It is OK if you did not notice as they are pretty meaningless and pointless. However, it is a nice bit of entertainment and occassionally a good joke comes out of it.
Mad Men actor John Hamm was this year's host and he was out throwing haymakers in his opening monologue at the NOKIA Theater in Los Angeles last night. Whether it was Dwight Howard leaving Los Angeles or Chris Bosh chasing down Heat fans who apparently left early, Hamm covered the year in sports pretty nicely.
