Team USA might be getting marquee players to return

Anytime NBA players can commit to playing for Team USA is a huge boost. They play a long NBA season and to represent their home country in either the Olympics of qualifying events, is a testament to their dedication to USA Basketball.

So with the above report stating Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Kevin Love showing interest at returning to Team USA will only boost the team's chances at defending their Olympic crown in Rio in 2016.

However, before you think these stars will return and fully commit is a lock, you might want to take a step back.

All four players will be logging heavy minutes in the NBA season and for Durant, Westbrook, and Harden it might also mean a deep trip into the playoffs. Add the fact Love and Westbrook are coming off injuries, they might want to rest in the offseason.

Nevertheless, should they return to Team USA, it might mean a long tournament for any other team in the field.

And even if they do not play, there's other up-and-coming players to fill their slot on the roster.
