Eurobasket 2013 is not for another month but that does not mean the intensity isn't there among teams during exhibition play.
Take Suns' Goran Dragic (who is playing for Slovenia) and Team Turkey in a recent exhibition game.
Dragic was driving in for a layup when a Turkish player popped him with a hard foul. Needless to say, Goran didn't take the hit well and got into a scuffle with the Turkish player when the benches cleared. Though after seeing the replay, it was clear the Turkish player was making a play for the ball. Goran may have overreacted. (h/t Playersview.net).
