OK Vegas, calm down. Let’s not get hasty.
Ever since word is rising that the possibility of LeBron James returning to Cleveland, Vegas odds makers are giving the Cavs an increased shot at winning the 2015 NBA crown.
Considering Kyrie Irving, and rookie Andrew Wiggins teaming up next season and the added chance James might put on the gold and wine colors once again, Vegas now has Cleveland at 10:1 odds to be the next NBA champs.
“They are our biggest liability right now,” MGM VP of Race and Sports Jay Rood told ESPN. “We took a dime ($1,000) on them at 40-1.”
Not bad for the Cavs but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here Vegas. It isn’t a lock James will rejoin Cleveland and Irving and Wiggins will need time to get their chemistry down before the Cavs have any shot at coming out of the East.
