Oh boy. This isn’t what you want from your rookie if you are the Hornets. Especially if your rookie has personal issues while in college leading many to think of him as a huge risk.
Charlotte’s rookie P.J. Hairston got into a tussle during a pickup game in North Carolina which led to him punching a prep senior according to Yahoo! Sports.

Hairston punched Northern Durham High sr. forward Kentrell Barkley after the latter threw a punch first, Hairston’s agent Juan Morrow said.

P.J. and the Hornets will need to address this behavior soon. Hairston had character issues while at UNC and had to spend some time in the D-League before making the jump to the NBA Draft.

This is not how you want to start your NBA career and if P.J. continues this behavior in the league, his time as a pro will be severely limited.
