Kyrie Irving has had enough of rumors he is leaving

It seems like in the NBA we go from one player leaving to the next. We went from LeBron James to Carmelo Anthony to Dwight Howard to Carmelo Anthony (again) to Kevin Love and, now, to Kyrie Irving.

The fact the Cavaliers will probably miss the Playoffs again and Irving is set to hit restricted free agency has raised the alarms in Cleveland that the organization could lose another first overall pick in five years. The reality is it probably will not happen.

And Irving is putting the kibosh on the rumors now (or Saturday):

Irving just wants the rumors to stop at this point. Cleveland has too much riding on the end of the season. The Cavaliers are trying to rally for that final Playoff spot. They are currently in 10th place, two games behind the ninth place Knicks and four games behind the eighth place Hawks. Any combination of two Atlanta wins or two Cleveland losses will officially eliminate Cleveland from the Playoffs. The margin for error is razor thin.

Let the summer be the time for unsubstantiated rumors.
