If there’s any team in the NBA with more bad luck it has to be the Pacers.
As if losing their cornerstone player, Paul George, to a devastating season-ending leg injury, now comes word big man Ian Mahinmi will be sidelined for up to 8 weeks with a foot injury. Indiana announced in a press release that Ian suffered a torn plantar fascia.
In addition to losing George and Mahinmi, the Pacers have also lost David West, CJ Miles, CJ Watson and their point guard George Hill has yet to play this season.
Ian is averaging 4.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and shooting 61 percent from the field prior to the injury.
If there wasn’t bad luck for Indiana, they’d have no luck at all.
