Rondo’s Pricey Homecoming

The Boston Celtics are bound to stink worse than a middle school boy’s locker room now that Rajon Rondo is gone. With that pungent musk of pre-adolescent boy and Axe, ticket prices are expected to drop. Well, the city of Boston is always defying expectations.

According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the Boston Celtics will be increasing ticket prices upwards of 15 to 25 percent to see Rajon Rondo and the Dallas Mavericks on January 2nd.

With their marquee player, Jeff Green, the Celtics won’t be making much money in the near future, so increasing ticket sales to a game most people in Boston will want to come watch is a genius marketing strategy.
