Sixers finally win!

They did it. The Sixers finally won.

Philadelphia snapped an NBA record-tying 26-game losing streak with an impressive and energetic 123-98 win over Detroit at Wells Fargo Center. Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams each scored 21 points and Henry Sims added 16 points. It all finally seemed to work.

This was the 76ers’ first win since Jan. 29 in Boston. That was before the trades that sent Spencer Hawes to Cleveland and Evan Turner to Indiana. That was exactly two months ago. That is a long time to go without a win.

The Sixers though are still two games ahead of the Bucks for the best odds at winning the lottery.
