Blazers to honor the late Jerome Kersey with a patch on team uniforms

He may have won an NBA title in 1999 with the San Antonio Spurs, but the late Jerome Kersey made a name for himself with the Blazers.

As you may have heard, the former Blazer passed away recently, leaving the NBA world stunned at losing one of its best players to ever suit up.

Kersey was a part of the 90’s Blazers team that went on to two NBA Finals births and teamed up with Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Kevin Duckworth, Buck Williams, Cliff Robinson and Jermaine O’Neal to make a formidable team in the West during their time.

And to honor Kersey, the Blazers have announced they’ll be honoring him with a patch on their uniforms.
