Boston and Denver set to make a trade

The Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets are about to trade Jameer Nelson and Nate Robinson, respectively. Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the move late Tuesday afternoon.

Robinson’s contract will expire after this season while Nelson’s had a player option for after this season. The Woj is also reporting that the Clippers might be an option for Robinson under the assumption that the Celtics will buy him out.

Robinson would give the Clippers another legitimate point guard off the bench should he land there. Boston is also trying to buyout Tayshaun Prince who was acquired in the Memphis and OKC trade.
