Brandon Jennings out 6-9 months

Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings is going to be out 6 to 9 months with a torn Achilles tendon in his left foot that he suffered in Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. We didn’t know for sure until an MRI revealed the tear Sunday morning, but Jennings also took to Twitter to let people know the diagnosis.

Seems pretty straight forward to me with that one. It’s too bad as he was really finding his groove and was averaging 15.4 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game on 36% shooting from beyond the arc and 40% shooting overall.

About Benjamin Bornstein

A University of Florida grad, Ben likes basketball way more than he should. He gets excited about a Timberwolves-Kings game so that should tell you how intense the passion is for him. His favorite teams are the Spurs and Magic because he likes to be on both ends of the winning spectrum.
