- “Adam Silver calls concerns on possible 2017 work stoppage ‘premature'” by Candace Buckner of the Indy Star.
Analysis: Although it seems likelier by the day that the NBA is headed for a work stoppage in 2017, Adam Silver isn’t so sure and thinks those kinds of assumptions may be a bit “premature”.
- “Will Serge Ibaka’s injury absence be the straw that breaks OKC?” by Matt Moore of CBSSports.com.
Analysis: The Thunder are going to be without Ibaka for a while, and that could be a seriously problem. OKC is in a tight race with the pesky New Orleans Pelicans for the final playoff spot in the West and losing Ibaka is only going to make that race even tighter.
Analysis: The Nuggets are playing good basketball again under interim head coach Melvin Hunt, which is a potential problem for the team’s lottery odds. It’s a weird situation in Denver, to say the least.
Analysis: The polarizing Italian Knickerbocker Andrea Bargnani is reportedly interested in re-signing with the club after the season concludes. San Antonio Spurs assistant Ettore Messina is optimistic Bargnani can excel in the triangle offense, too.
Analysis: One of the most bizarre NBA locker room incidents ever found it self as question on Jeopardy!.
