Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams will be out indefinitely after sustaining a fractured rib in Wednesday night’s game against Boston. He played only four minutes before re-aggravating the rib injury that he said started hurting over the weekend and that prompted him to miss Monday’s game against Dallas. The first tests done on the cartilage portion of his left 12th rib came back negative, but after Wednesday the diagnosis was a bit different. The doctors have given no timetable to return, but it may not matter as there have been rumors since December that Williams will be moved to Sacramento anyway.
