Derrick Rose to play Monday night

After missing Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Derrick Rose is set to return to the lineup. Rose had soreness in his left knee after the game against the Washington Wizards and that it’s nothing to worry about. Rose said he got a lot of treatment on Sunday including acupuncture, massage, stim treatment, as well as ice. He said his knee soreness has nothing to do with the fact he’s been in a shooting slump over the last two weeks. He has a true shooting percentage of only 37% for the five games he’s played in January and he’s averaged a -9.5 plus/minus rating while on the floor during that same span. The Bulls host the Orlando Magic tonight and it should be a good opportunity for Rose to get back on his feet as they are struggling and let teams shoot almost 50% from the field.
