Former NBA guard Delonte West makes his second comeback in D-League

Former NBA guard Delonte West is trying to make his second come back and has signed with the D-League’s Texas Legends. The Legends announced Thursday that the veteran guard would be rejoining the team.

Via ESPN:

After one season with Dallas, West was waived in October 2012 after being suspended twice for conduct detrimental to the team. His first suspension lasted less than a day, but West was never reinstated after being suspended again. The belief was that West could not handle the frustration of having to settle once again for another one-year, veteran-minimum contract.

In his return to the Legends, West poured in 10 points and 6 rebounds in 19 minutes.
