Kings Offering Cousins Bobblehead With Purchased Tickets For Rockets Game

The Sacramento Kings have been enjoying their recent home cooking, winning back-to-back home games at Sleep Train Arena. On December 8th the Kings had an eight-point win against the Utah Jazz, followed by a two-point win against the New York Knicks on December 10th.

With the weekend off the Kings have had plenty of time to plan for their next home opponent, the Houston Rockets. It’s the third and final game of a short home stand before hitting the road for four straight contests.

The Kings (9-15) have proved they enjoy playing at home as opposed to on the road, as games away from Sleep Train Arena have been where the team has struggled the most this season. The Kings are 7-7 at home, but are only 2-8 away from home.

Sacramento has eight games remaining in this calendar year, and the game against the Rockets on December 15th is the cheapest one remaining on the secondary market. The average ticket price for Kings tickets is $66.51, while the cheapest tickets through the Kings’ primary purchasing platform are $20. The Kings also have a special offer for the Rockets game, where purchased tickets come with a DeMarcus Cousins bobblehead.

On the Kings’ primary tickets page, a ticket in Section 113, Row R costs $128 (and don’t forget the bobblehead) while a ticket on the secondary market in Section 113, Row R costs $162. Similar savings can be found in Section 218, Row E, where the secondary market is $69 compared to only $51 through the Kings’ Ticketmaster platform.

The Rockets struggled early in the season,  which already resulted in the firing of their head coach, but have certainly played better as of late and are showing strong signs of a turnaround. Houston has bumped their record to .500 at 12-12 by going 7-3 in their past 10 games. They’ve won five out of their last six games and are currently on a two-game winning streak, just like the Kings.

The two teams last met on December 5th, where the Rockets won by seven points at the Toyota Center. James Harden got the best of the Kings that night scoring 31 points while Dwight Howard had 22 points and 18 rebounds.
