At a current record of 17-46, the Lakers are all but eliminated from the postseason, even though they were practically eliminated from the playoffs since Game 1 of their season.
No Kobe Bryant, no Julius Randle, and a roster full of players who don’t have the chops to lead L.A. to the playoffs, all but spelled doom for the team’s season.
And now that Lakers have been mathematically eliminated from the postseason, Byron Scott says the team might have a chance to make it in the playoffs… they just need a 21-game winning streak to qualify.

Yeah Scott pretty much went full Jim Carrey from “Dumb & Dumber.”
Yeah, that 21-win streak may not happen but keep the faith Scott. There’s always the impossible happening.
