As if the 5-32 Knicks don’t have enough issues to worry about, they are now being sued by a fan who was ejected from a game exactly a year ago (January 7, 2014). Madison Square Garden claims the man was heckling Carmelo Anthony and using inappropriate language to do so. The fan, Anthony Rotondi, claimed that he was only screaming, “Carmelo you stink!” but of course MSG heard something else and he was ejected from the game and was “arrested and charged with Tampering with a Sports Contest in the Second Degree and Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree,” according to the lawsuit. Not only was he kicked out of the game, but MSG apparently went to his employer and got him fired from his job! He had been working 12 years for ING Financial Services and was even at the game with clients. This is becoming quite the season for the Knicks and not in any way they had imagined.
