Phil Jackson likely to get fined for comments on college player

New York Knicks president Phil Jackson was at the Ohio State-Nebraska game scouting Ohio State’s D’Angelo Russell. However, Jackson made some comments on him that were inappropriate by the NBA’s standards and according to Yahoo! Sports, he is likley get a fine for it.

It is against the NBA rules to publicly comment on a draft-ineligible player — meaning a collegiate player who is playing in-season in this case — and this is not the first time Jackson has been fined this year as he was fined for talking about Derek Fisher as a head coach while he was still under contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
