Ray Allen will choose his team after the All-Star break

Many teams have been jockeying for the services of one Mr. Ray Allen. Well, it looks like the sharp shooter knows when he’ll have his decision made and we will all be kept in suspense until after the All-Star break. Teams like the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards, and Atlanta Hawks have been in touch with the league’s all-time leader in three-point field goals made.

The Cavaliers have left a roster spot open all season and many believe it has been reserved for Allen. However, the Hawks have a good rotation spot open for the 39-year old because of an injury to Thabo Sefolosha that will keep him sidelined for potentially two months. Allen shot 39 percent from 3-point range and averaged 9.3 points while playing 26.4 minutes a game in 20 playoff games last season for the Heat after shooting 38 percent from 3 during the regular season.

About Benjamin Bornstein

A University of Florida grad, Ben likes basketball way more than he should. He gets excited about a Timberwolves-Kings game so that should tell you how intense the passion is for him. His favorite teams are the Spurs and Magic because he likes to be on both ends of the winning spectrum.
