Rockets Secondary Market Tickets Showing Worst Trend For Christmas NBA Games

An annual Christmas Day tradition is the NBA providing entertainment for people around the globe as some of the league’s best teams perform throughout the entire day. On December 25th, there will be five games played and that will include the two teams from last year’s NBA Finals, a sure-fire first ballot Hall of Famer and an embarrassment of riches in terms of some of the top talent around the league.

As expected, last season’s NBA Finals rematch takes the top spot with an average ticket price of over $800 and a get-in price of $224. On December 15th the average ticket price reached its highest point at $1,037.29 but has been falling since then. At such a high price, one could only imagine it drops a touch more until the date of the game arrives.

Rockets tickets have had the most negative trend in terms of average ticket price for when they take on the Spurs. On December 14th the average price reached its highest point of December at $277.93 but now shows no sign of making any impressions back towards that number.

Only one game shows a positive trend, and that’s between the Heat and Pelicans in Miami. On December 14th the average ticket price was $158.85 and has had a slight increase since then.
