Sixers win their first game!

Wait, that can’t be right? That says the Sixers won a game. It cannot be final yet. That is not how this thing works, right?

On Wednesday night, it was. Philadelphia snapped a season-opening 17-game losing streak and avoided the ignominy of the longest losing streak to start a season in league history with a 85-77 win at Target Center against the Timberwolves.

That looks to be a fitting final score for a team struggling to win. Philadelphia even scored just nine points in the second quarter and STILL found a way to win.

Winning is hard in this league. The Sixers got their win. When are they going to get win number 2?

Let’s celebrate the first one first.
