Steven Adams to miss three weeks

Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams will miss three weeks after undergoing surgery on his right shooting hand. He suffered the injury on Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers. He came back into the game to shoot free throws with his left (non-shooting) hand and hit one of them. Adams ended up breaking a finger on that right hand though and that’s why it required surgery. He was averaging 7.4 points, 1.2 blocks, and seven rebounds a game before the injury. OKC is currently sitting at the tenth spot in the Western Conference.
