Swaggy P likely to miss rest of season

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Nick Young, or Swaggy P as the public knows him, will likely miss the rest of the season because of a fractured left knee. Young suffered the injury on February 22nd against the Boston Celtics and the injury has not made much progress healing. He’s missed the last 20 games and it looks like he will miss even more now. The Lakers shouldn’t be too worried as they probably want to try to lose games anyway to get a higher lottery pick. They need to be in the top five or their pick goes to Philadelphia, who has a ton of picks already stored in a massive warehouse.

Swaggy P has missed games in a number of stints this seasons because of a torn ligament in his hand and a sprained ankle. Coach Byron Scott hasn’t been shy about criticizing Young, who averaged 13.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 23.8 minutes over 42 games this season. Surely, letting Young get healthy and back into form over the offseason is the best option here for the team and the player.
