Thunder look to bounce back against Kings after big loss to Golden State

The 17-18 Oklahoma City Thunder look to rebound after their blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors when they square off against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Interestingly, this could be Oklahoma City’s first game with their new acquisition, Dion Waiters, who just came over in a three-team blockbuster from the Cavaliers.
Waiters, who is averaging 10.5 points per game, is a scorer by nature. He is an aggressive guard who is on a team with other aggressive guards such as Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson. It will be interesting to see how Waiters meshes with this group, who could potentially look to move a Jeremy Lamb to another team to round out their roster.
Aside from the Waiters trade, Oklahoma City will look to move on from their loss to their rivals and get a win against a reeling Kings squad. Despite the return of DeMarcus Cousins, this Kings team has lost 3 of its last four games to opponentssuch as Boston, Detroit and Brooklyn. This game could serve as a rebound matchup for the Thunder.
Due to the fact that the Thunder bring in such star power, Kings vs. OKC Thunder tickets are going for an average price of $187.53 on the secondary market. It will at least cost $34.00 to get into the Sleep Train arena on Wednesday night according to Totally Tickets. This is a matchup of two of the best rebounding teams in the NBA. Cousins is averaging 12.1 rebounds in the games that he has played so far this season. The whole Thunder team is grabbing 46.1 rebounds per game, which is third best in the NBA. Whichever team can out rebound the other will have a great shot at winning. The battle between Serge Ibaka and Cousins will be extremely intriguing. Ibaka blocks more than 2 shots per game, but Cousins is a physical force inside, if either one can neutralize the other, it should be a big help for their respective teams.
