Wizards broadcaster accuses Heat of using canned fan noise

Miami already does not have a great fan reputation. Lower bowl fans often file in late and there is a leisurely pace to things in South Florida. Even with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh leading the team to championships, the crowd left a little to be desired in the regular season for sure. Even when Wade was at the height of his powers, you probably could not bother most Miami fans to care.

So with LeBron gone, how did the Heat do?

Miami is claiming a sell out and it certainly looked like fans showed up. For the most part they seemed loud.

Maybe a bit too loud.

Washington Wizards play-by-play voice Steve Buckhantz accused the Heat of piping in crowd noise on the Wizards’ broadcast Wednesday night.

The joke is on him, the Heat won the game.
